Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has paid tribute to Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid sacked Ancelotti as coach on Monday.

Former Real boss Del Bosque stated: "Both professionally and off the pitch, he has left his mark on Spanish football.

"I cannot comment on recent events because that's a club matter and we are not in the position to do so."
