Watford striker Troy Deeney has spoken of the relief he felt after scoring his first Premier League goal for the Hornets against Stoke City on Saturday.
After scoring 21 goals in the Championship last season, Deeney had to wait 10 games before he was able to find the back of the net for the first time in England's top flight.
"Only when I scored did I realise how much I missed scoring," Deeney told Sky Sports.
"Beforehand it was all about the team, but then I scored and it gave me a sense of relief. Obviously the emotion of waiting 10 games to score all came out and it ended up with a bit of a daft celebration to be fair.
"Hopefully I won't be waiting that long to score again."
