Decision on Melbourne Victory's Muscat delayed by FFA

Football Federation Australia will give the Melbourne Victory until later in the week to provide their submission regarding captain Kevin Muscat.

The veteran defender was involved in an incident following the 3-3 draw with Brisbane Roar on Friday night in where he appeared to make contact with the midriff of Roar goalkeeping coach Fernando Vaz Alves.

The incident was described as 'handbags' by Fox Sports commentator Mark Bosnich and Vaz Alvess asid yesterday he didn't have a problem with Muscat showing his emotions.

The Victory can now hand in their submission by 1pm tomorrow (Wednesday) which will precede an internal review by FFA before a decision either tomorrow afternoon or on Thursday.
