The agent of Espanyol midfielder Ivan de la Pena has confirmed he's in talks with Blackburn Rovers.

"I am dealing with some very important offers for Ivan, one of them from Blackburn," his agent Manuel Ferrer is quoted in the Daily Star.

"There have also been bids from Spartak Moscow, from Greece and the UAE.

"Ivan wants to be the best paid player at Espanyol, this recognise his ability but his salary does not reflect this."
