Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is backing Javier Hernandez for success with Real Madrid. Chicharito has joined Real on a season-long loan.

"He's a great guy," said De Gea.

"I am sure that he will do really well at Madrid. I would have liked him to stay on at United but he was keen to move away to get regular playing time and I think he'll score plenty of goals for Madrid."
