Kevin de Bruyne feels he can be fit for Manchester City's Club World Cup push.

De Bruyne is recovering from summer surgery and has just thrown away his crutches, says the Daily Star.

The Belgium attacker broke down in their opening day win against Burnley.

And his playing target is now December's Club World Cup, to be staged in Saudi Arabia.

City manager Pep Guardiola, however, will be wary rushing back De Bruyne given his original setback was blamed on a heavy workload.
