De Bruyne praises Man City character for Liverpool point

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne praised the character shown for their 2-2 draw at Liverpool.

City went behind twice in the second half, but fought back twice with goals from Phil Foden and De Bruyne to secure a point in Merseyside.

"It was a hard game, I think we played well, especially the first half I think we dominated them," he said.

"We had enough opportunities to go forward. The reaction after their two goals was good.

"I didn't play here last year when we won, but I think the way we played here with all their supporters, in the six or seven years I've been here, was by far the best one. That's a good sign for me.

"I cannot fault the performance. We did everything that we needed to do.To come here is a hard test and I think we did really well, the way we played, we should be happy with that."
