De Argila tells Sensi to leave Inter Milan: They're holding you back

Stefano Sensi is being urged to quit Inter Milan.

Former Cesena and San Marino coach Fernando De Argila worked with Sensi as a junior player and says he's being held back at Inter.

“Sensi was already world class when I knew him at 15, a player who could become like Xavi and Iniesta," De Argila told Tuttosport.

“If Sensi had been Spanish, he never would've even played with me in the third division. He would've gone straight to the top flight and made an immediate impact.

“It's natural he wants to triumph with Inter now, but for the future, it's best that he leaves both this club and Italy. He has to go to a league where everyone tries to play football by touching the ball 250 times per game.

“Seeing as we are talking about Xavi and Iniesta, I'll add this: if he plays consistently in a league other than Serie A, I think Sensi can reach their level and become a Ballon d'Or winner."
