DC United have released Tiyi Shipalane and Lyle Adams to make room for the returning Luciano Emilio and Stephen King who has joined from Seattle Sounders.
24-year old South African Shipalane joined the club in August last year on loan but was added permanently to the roster in December.
He was then loaned out to USL Second Division side Richmond Kickers after making just three CONCACAF Champions League appearances with DCU.
Adams joined DCU from Wake Forest after a stint with Austin Aztex but failed to make a first team appearance.
