DC United have confirmed that they have taken Irish defender Sean St Ledger on trial.
The Washington DC outfit revealed to MLSsoccer.com on Tuesday that 30-year old centre-back St Ledger is training with them ahead of the 2015 season.
St Ledger, who has 37 caps for the Republic of Ireland, is a free agent following his release from Ipswich Town at the end of last year.
Previously, the English-born central defender has played with such clubs as Millwall, Leicester City, Middlesbrough, Preston North End and Peterborough United.
