DC United are delighted to welcome star midfielder Dwayne De Rosario to the club.
The Washington outfit acquired the Canada international from New York Red Bulls in exchange for Dax McCarty and DC general manager Dave Kasper was thrilled with the outcome.
"He gives us a great attacking option," Kasper said. "It enables [coach Ben Olsen] to put together a good group of attacking players.
"How it works out remains to be seen, but as of today, we have a nice addition to our lineup."
And Olsen labeled the former Toronto FC attacking midfielder as one of the best in the league.
"DeRo is the real deal," he said. "He's as good as this league has ever seen."
