Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood, who has become a firm target for DC United, has received a lucrative offer from Turkish club Bursaspor.

Harewood is currently out of contract at Villa and it seems almost certain the club will not offer him a new deal as he spent most of last term on loan with Newcastle United and struggled for any game time at his home club.

Despite Bursapor offering him a big deal, DC United are reportedly in a position to match that offer but it is unsure just how hard they will pursue the burly 30-year old.
