Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Chris Sharpe isn't surprised by Tottenham's interest in DC United winger Andy Najar.
Najar is set for a training stint with Spurs with the view to winning a contract at the Premier League giants.
Rapids keeper Sharpe, who had spells with Southampton and Chesterfield, told tribalfootball.com: "I think Najar is a very good player. Dangerous on the ball, quick, wonderful vision going forward and he had a great second half to the season as DC made a playoff run.
"He is young and very good, so you would have to say that right now its all in front of him. He has had a great start to his career turned quite a few heads and can only expect that as he grows and gets stronger and more experience he is only going to get better and better,
"Yes, I feel that the hype for him right now is well deserved, he has done very well."
