DC United keeper Andrew Dykstra joins Charleston Battery

Goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra has joined the Charleston Battery on loan from Major League Soccer's D.C. United.

Dykstra spent the 2011 season with the Battery earning six shut-outs with a GAA of just .98 in 16 games played.

Dykstra came to the Battery in 2011 after two years with Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire making seventeen appearances.

A native of Woodbridge, Virginia, Dykstra, 6-4, 195 lbs., 25 yrs., played his college soccer at Virginia Commonwealth University.
