DC United head coach Curt Onalfo has been disciplined by MLS for improper behaviour stemming from last week's US Open Cup match against FC Dallas at RFK Stadium.

Onalfo has been fined $1000 and suspended from the next two US Open Cup fixtures for leaving the bench area and improper behaviour for disputing a foul called against a DCU player.

He will now miss the June 2 clash with Real Salt Lake and if United advances, will miss the Round of 16 part of the tournament proper later this year.
