Hull City defender Michael Dawson has confirmed that he will continue with the club despite their relegation from the Premier League.

The 31-year old signed a three-year deal with the club last summer and he intends to fulfill the contract with the club even though they are now set to battle it out in the second tier.

"It is going to be a slog in the Championship," the Tigers captain said.

"I said when I signed for the club that I would give everything and I will keep doing that."
