After victory over Everton, Fulham midfielder Simon Davies is convinced they're on their way to Premiership safety.

He told fulhamfc.com: "The Manager's been patient and he said right at the start that it will not be an overnight thing. He wants us to get better in the long term and not just the short term. Hopefully we're going in the right direction now.

"The organisation is better and we're much more of a unit through the team. Everybody knows their jobs, where they should be and what they should be doing. We were a bit lightweight and he's made some good acquisitions - Leon certainly gives us a bit of steel in midfield."
