Kevin Davies expects strike-partner Johan Elmander to carry on scoring after finding the back of the net on his Bolton Wanderers debut in Saturday's win over Stoke City.
Davies said: "From what I've seen Johan is going to score consistently for us. He is an honest, hard-working centre-forward and he can only get better.
"He looks to be decent at everything and he even tackles back.
"Johan has got a good personality, he's got that confidence and belief in himself.
"He's settled in well and the lads have taken to him. We're expecting good things from him this year."
