Liverpool icon Sir Kenny Dalglish is recovering well from his bout with coronavirus, his daughter Kelly Cates has revealed.

Dalglish was admitted to hospital last week for treatment on gallstones when he tested positive for Covid-19.

King Kenny returned home on Sunday and Cates told BBC Radio 5 Live: "He's doing all right.

"My mum's got a patio that needs jet washing so we need him up and about as soon as possible.

"He's good. He's not quite up and 100 per cent yet but he's not too bad at all."
