Reims winger Mohamed Daramy is delighted for Rasmus Hojlund's success with Manchester United.
The pair came through together at FC Copenhagen and are now Denmark teammates.
Daramy said: "It's really cool. Obviously he's had some tough criticism along the way and that's been part of the journey, but it's cool to see his mental strength and how he just keeps working hard.
"You always had the feeling that he just had to get the first few pieces, and then the shoal would run.
"It's great to see that he can score a lot of goals, and I hope that they can get a little higher in the table.
"You know that as a footballer there will be bumps in the road, and people have their opinions. It can be hard and probably especially so in England, where I think it is significantly harder than in the Netherlands (Daramy is a former Ajax player). It's cool to see how he reins it in."
