Danny Ward tipped for Liverpool future by Aberdeen teammate

Aberdeen goalkeeper Scott Brown is full of praise for on-loan Liverpool youngster Danny Ward.

The experienced Dons keeper has lost his Pittodrie starting slot to the 22-year-old Welshman.

Brown said: “Jack was younger than Danny is when he came to Cheltenham but they're both fantastic goalkeepers. Jack's playing in the Premier League, showing his quality every week, and I'm sure Danny will do likewise one day too.

Liverpool is a club which does not hand out five-year contracts to players unless they have plans on playing them in the first team at some point and, having watched Danny every day in training, he's a guy who is going to be right up there in the future."
