Former Manchester United defender Danny Simpson has returned to Carrington.

Simpson has been doing punditry work for MUTV and has also been seen at academy training.

The Manchester Evening News says he's observing academy training and matches while he weighs up the next step in his career.

Simpson attended United's UEFA Youth League win against Galatasaray in midweek.
