Burnley striker Danny Ings admits he's been barracked by Clarets fans as he prepares to leave Turf Moor.

. Ings has revealed he has been subjected to abuse from his own fans after refusing to sign a new deal.

"Everyone who knows me personally and people around the club know that I give 100 per cent for the team and for the fans," he told the club's official matchday programme.

"I had to turn off my Twitter notifications for a while as I got a small minority of people sending me some abusive tweets.

"That did upset me a little bit because of everything this club means to me and what we've been through together."
