Daniele de Rossi has total faith in the new board at AS Roma.

The midfielder signed a new deal to 2017 earlier this year.

"Things at the minute are not the best, but we hope that will change in the future," De Rossi told Sky Sport Italia.

"We are starting to lift our heads again after a difficult beginning, but the road has been difficult with the highs and lows.

"I'm optimistic though because nobody has doubted this squad or the project in place."
