Daniel Alves has rejected a final contract offer from Barcelona.

The fullback's current deal expires at the end of this season.

Cadena Ser says the Brazilian defender will give a press conference on Tuesday 26 May to explain the reasons and to say goodbye.

Alves felt he was worth more than Barça were willing to offer, so decided to take his services elsewhere.

PSG, Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the defender.
