Dani Osvaldo is returning to Southampton this summer.

The Mirror says Osvaldo will return to Southampton this summer after Boca Juniors decided not to extend his loan.

The £17million striker has been a figure of controversy throughout his career and was bombed out of St Mary's after an altercation with skipper Jose Fonte on the training ground.

Representatives of the player are keen to find him a move to Turkey or the MLS with Southampton understood to not be taking him into consideration.
