Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish remains keen to sell Maxi Rodriguez.
The Mirror says Liverpool will finance what is sure to be an expensive summer by selling some of their squad players who are surplus to requirements.
Dalglish is also looking to offload Milan Jovanovic, Maxi Rodriguez, Christian Poulsen, Paul Konchesky and Philipp Degen amongst others.
The Reds are also in talks with Roma over the sale of Alberto Aquilani, and new Fulham boss Martin Jol is interested in Joe Cole.
