The father of Denis Cheryshev cannot rule out a late departure from Real Madrid.

The attacker is being linked with Zenit St Petersburg.

Cheryshev Snr said: "Carlo Ancelotti does not want Denis to leave. He sees him as a winger, but Denis wants to play in his favourite position. He wants to grow and progress.

"Moreover, the most important that is coming is obviously Brazil and the World Cup.

"He needs to play and wants to make the Russian squad."
