Newcastle Jets coach Branko Culina is confident his team can pull themselves out of the rut they are currently in.
The Hunter club fell to the bottom of the table with an unlucky 1-0 loss to Sydney FC yesterday to take their winless run to four matches but Culina is confident that things will start to turn soon.
"The table doesn't lie," Culina admitted. "But we do have a couple of games in hand, and in some case more than a couple, over other teams.
"I'm disappointed. You don't like to look at the table and see your team at the bottom.
"We've also had a fairly hectic time. We've played three teams twice already in the first 10 rounds.
"But I remember sitting here [last year] talking to you in a similar position and we dug ourselves out."
