Cuadrado content but needs more time to become Chelsea star

Juan Cuadrado insists he requires time and patience before he becomes a top player at Chelsea.

The Colombian winger, 26, joined the Blues from Fiorentina in a deal worth ?£27million which saw Mohamed Salah move the other way.

?The fortunes of the two players have not at all been mirrored since the January transfer with Salah enjoying some stunning form in Italy but Cuadrado is confident he will eventually adjust before becoming a Stamford Bridge idol under Jose Mourinho.

?"I am happy. I am adapting to the city, the game and the new teammates," Cuadrado told Win Sport.

?"After a change a player needs to be patient. I have just started. I need to work hard and when the chance arrives be ready for it with the help of God.

?"The Premier League is a little bit different [to Serie A]. The transition from defence to attack is very fast.

?"But the Colombian players are ready for it. We must be patient and with time you will see the results."?
