CSKA Moscow's Honda may move in January

CSKA Moscow star Keisuke Honda looks set to remain with the Russian Premier League club until at least January. The 24-year old Japan international has been linked with a number of clubs during the European summer after his impressive performances at the World Cup but no official enquiries have come in according to his agent Kees Ploegsma.

Arsenal, AC Milan, Liverpool, Everton and Valencia have all shown interest but it seems Honda will remain in Moscow for the time being says Ploegsma.

"Honda will be staying in Russia until at least January," Ploegsma told talkSPORT.

"When a big club comes in he will want to leave but at the moment that has not happened.

"There were opportunities to move but he has not had the offer from a top club, which is what we want.

"A lot of managers will be watching him after he played so well at the World Cup - now they can watch him more for CSKA and hopefully they will decide to try and do something in January."
