Rangers manager Ally McCoist has admits that Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns is a player who interest him.
The 28-year old will come out of contract with the Eagles this summer, making him available on a free transfer and McCoist says he would be a great addition to the Glasgow club's title-winning squad.
"I think everyone accepts we need more numbers in our squad. We need more strength in depth," he told the Daily Mail.
"I would describe Danns as a box-to-box midfielder with good physical attributes and he should be suited to Scotland."
It is believed that Rangers will have competition from the likes of Southampton and Hull City as well as Old Firm rivals Celtic for the former Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City man.
