Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is chasing Tottenham outcast Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Mail on Sunday says Palace are looking at throwing a lifeline to Adebayor as part of major changes that Pardew is planning to make at Selhurst Park this summer.

Palace have already made an enquiry about Adebayor whose troubled season at White Hart Lane has seen him twice allowed time off for compassionate reasons to sort out family problems.

However, Pardew wants to speak to the 28-year-old Togo forward to see if he is genuinely interested in rebuilding a Premier League career.
