Crystal Palace have sounded out Real Betis about a price for Víctor Camarasa.
The midfielder spent last season on-loan in the Premier League with Cardiff City where he impressed.
Marca says Palace have now come forward about bringing Camarasa back to England.
Palace directors have been in Madrid since yesterday trying to get closer with Betis over a fee for Camarasa.
The midfielder's Betis deal carries a €25m buyout clause.
