Marouane Chamakh is set to sign a new contract with Crystal Palace.
Sky Sports suggests that the Moroccan striker is poised to put pen to a new two-year deal before the weekend amidst interest from a couple of other clubs.
The former Arsenal forward has recently attracted interest from Premier League returnees QPR as well as French club Bordeaux but is expected to commit to the Eagles after scoring five goals for the south Londoners while on a one-year deal last season.
