Crystal Palace and Everton have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Swansea City defender Ashley Williams.
The Swans skipper, who was a target for both Alan Pardew and Roberto Martinez, has committed his future to the Welsh club.
"I'll be staying at Swansea," said Williams.
"I'm used to dealing with the speculation and bids. It's part of the job and I just take it as a compliment and it shows you are doing your job properly."
Wales international Williams, 30, has been with Swansea since 2008 and amassed over 300 appearances for the south Wales outfit.
