Crystal Palace director John Textor has completed the takeover of Olympique Lyon.

Textor's company Eagle Football Holding has purchased Lyon for a mooted €800m.

"Today marks a new beginning for Olympique Lyon," said Textor, "after four months of constructive negotiations, which were based on a common understanding with Jean-Michel Aulas (OL president) and all our partners were shaped."

In addition to Lyon, the holding company also has interests in Crystal Palace, t Botafogo and RWD Molenbeek.
