Crystal Palace defender Hangeland confident of finding way to edge Pulis’ West Brom

Brede Hangeland believes Crystal Palace are capable of getting the better of West Bromwich Albion this coming weekend.

The Eagles find themselves seventh on the Premier League table following Sunday's 1-0 win at Watford and are now eyeing another victory when they host former boss Tony Pulis' Baggies at Selhurst Park this Saturday.

"Our league position doesn't mean much at this stage of the season," said the Norwegian defender.

"We need to keep putting points in the bank because we will need them later on.

"Now we have a good week ahead of us and West Brom at home on Saturday – we know exactly what to expect, and we'll do our homework on the training ground.

"Tony has one way to play and it works pretty well.

"He gets plenty of men behind the ball to close things up and hopes to get something on the counter-attack or a set-piece.

"They are a tough team to beat, but not impossible."
