Crystal Palace are closing on a deal for Atalanta wing-back Timothy Castagne.

Negotiations are now at an advanced stage over a €20m move to Palace.

The Orobici had not wanted to sell the Belgian, but if the bid is improved with bonuses to reach €25m, then a deal can be done.

Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà reports talks are progressing well and there could be a breakthrough next week.
