Crystal Palace boss Pulis seeks reunion with Stoke striker Crouch

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis is chasing Stoke City striker Peter Crouch.

The Telegraph says Pulis has been assured of funds for next month's transfer window by the Palace board and is ready to test the resolve of former club Stoke City with a £3 million bid for the former England international.

Crouch was signed for a record £10 million from Tottenham Hotspur nearly two-and-a half years ago and Pulis believes he has both the goals and experience to help boost his survival mission.

The 32-year-old almost joined Queens Park Rangers last January and with only 18 months left on his contract Stoke could listen to offers to finance their own search for a striker in the New Year.
