Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is ready to discuss new terms.
Hodgson, 71, wants a new two-year deal after defying his critics and reviving his career by saving the Eagles from relegation.
He said: “I've got to be honest and say that hasn't been one of my priorities. I wouldn't mind a new deal, perhaps, but that would be something that would have to be looked into.
“The focus has been on the club. What the club needs and what the club will need going forward to make 100% certain that, next season, we don't find ourselves in the same situation.
“That Steve Parish and the other owners don't find themselves at Christmas wondering where the next coach or manager is because, yet again, we find ourselves in the relegation zone and the panic starts to set in, wondering if we can survive yet again."
