Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has called on the club to do more over Victor Valdes' departure.

Valdes will continue his recovery from knee surgery in Germany and comes off contract at Barca next month.

Cruyff said of the goalkeeper: "They should erect a statue to him for everything he has done. He deserves a public tribute, not a private one with the players, because the public owe him so much."
