Crewe Alexandra are moving for Swansea City fullback Alan Tate.

The 32-year-old is one of a number of players understood to be on the radar of Alex boss Steve Davis as he looks to add more experience to his squad, says The Sentinel.

Tate - who can play all across the back four - would certainly add that to the young Crewe side and is not thought to be in Swansea boss Gary Monk's plans.
