Stoke City midfielder Jamie Ness has extended his loan with Crewe Alexandra.

Ness joined the Alex on loan in August and has featured 15 times for the League One side, scoring one goal.

His loan ended on Monday but a deal has been agreed that will see the 23-year-old spend the rest of this season with Crewe, says The Sentinel.

Ness will now be available for Saturday's crucial home game with Gillingham and will be looking to continue his recent good form.
