Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says re-signing Alan Tate from Swansea City is on the agenda.

Tate's loan has ended this week.

Davis told The Sentinel: "The Tatey thing we can't do until January. But I spoke to him several weeks before his loan ended about where he saw himself going forward and he was very positive.

"He enjoyed his time here, he got on with all the players and the staff, and he's been a great addition.

"We can re-visit that in January, and I'll be in contact with him and Swansea about that."
