Cremonese director Simone Giacchetta has revealed interest in Roma striker Eldor Shomurodov.

Serie A minnows are currently winless and want to sign Shomurodov in January.

“We want to improve the attack, just like other areas, with different characteristics," Giacchetta said.

“Shomurodov has certain very precise qualities. The important thing would be for him to come here with the right spirit and be ready to sacrifice himself, with everyone believing we can do it.

“Aside from the name of the player we bring in, it's crucial that he is prepared and can be relied upon."
