Philippe Coutinho has denied claims of submitting a transfer request at Aston Villa.

It's been suggested Coutinho has asked away with Corinthians keen.

But Coutinho posted to social media today: “In recent days I have seen many news with my name.

"The problem is that some lies have spread and I am here to clarify.

“I have NEVER ever had any kind of conversation where I asked to leave the club, because I enjoy it here and so does my family. My only focus now that I am recovered from the injury is to work maximally every day, to play at a high level and help the club and my teammates reach our goals."
