Reading striker Jacob Walcott will head to Dutch club FC Utrecht for a trial it has been confirmed.
The 19-year old cousin of Arsenal winger Theo Walcott had a successful loan spell with Dutch second division club Telstar last term and now Utrecht are keen to have a closer look at him.
Utrecht's director of football, Foeke Booy, suggests the Eredvisie club are not intending on bringing in any new players but feels that Walcott could be an option if he does well.
"We were not looking, but if we think this player could be an enhancement it could happen because it would cost very little," he told De Telegraaf.
