Alexandre Pato has revealed that he rejected a potential summer move to Tottenham.
The 24-year old Brazilian was targeted by the Spurs in the last transfer window but the former AC Milan forward said he preferred to remain with homeland club Corinthians instead.
"Tottenham had called Corinthians to ask for my transfer," he is quoted as telling Brazilian TV station SporTV.
"I sat at the table with the club and my agent and I decided I wanted to stay."
Pato returned home in January after a tough stint in Italy with Milan and he has since been recalled to the Brazil national team due to his performances for Corinthians.
