Australian beer producer Coopers Brewery has extended its deal for the naming rights of Adelaide United's home stadium for a further five years, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The Adelaide-based brewer signed a five-year naming rights deal with the venue's operators, Adelaide Entertainments Corporation, last year, but has now extended that agreement through to 2023.
The includes pouring rights at the 17,000 capacity Coopers Stadium at Hindmarsh.
Explaining the rationale behind the early extension, Coopers' sales and marketing director Cam Pearce said, "A recent upgrade at the stadium, including new seating, new food and beverage outlets in the eastern entry plaza and a new lift in the western grandstand, has made the venue even more attractive to A-League soccer fans, particularly supporters of Adelaide United.
"Coopers is a proud South Australian company and Coopers Stadium is recognised around the nation as the home of Adelaide United, one of Australia's leading soccer franchises."
